Ahh Snap!

My set of snap! cards were based around the collective nouns for a group of animals, as I wanted to explore both creating imagery and type. Initially this was done digitally, but after exploring the use of linocut prints I made myself, I found that the prints actually worked well on digital backgrounds that I had coloured with a set of colours. The back design for the cards was tricky at first, but I settled on a very simple design that linked all the cards together as a set.
